Do you ever have one of those moments where you think you're geeky enough to have heard of, or been part of, just about everything geeky there was; so much so that you would not be really astounded by anything? Have you then discovered a new level of geekiness that just makes you giggle? I have just had such a moment. I'm still giggling, in point of fact. I'm having one long moment of absurdity, really. I have just discovered the world of Wrock, known also as Wizard Rock, which consists of many bands playing music focused entirely on the Harry Potter books. Now, fic is one thing, but music is unbelievably geeky, even for me. I mean, this is public, and I dunno, it's really weird. Though some of the bands are really quite good, even if the subject matter makes me a little giggly and self-conscious should anyone see me listening to it.
