The Day After Tomorrow
Went and saw it this afternoon. All in all, it's a pretty decent movie save for a few things. I mean, aside from the fact that the science behind such a thing is not all that sound (although I did see something on Discovery once that said that something similar could possibly happen, although slower and without the bigass storms), and the the not so subtle new age philosophy of the earth cleansing itself of our doings and the like (for those who don't know, the book this movie is based on was written by two well-known new agers who clearly had an agenda with the book), I rather liked it. A tad cheesey, but too much, and it certainly didn't hurt that one of the main characters, one Emmy Rossum, was stunningly tasty. I liked how the earth looked at the end too. It was so cool, the northern hemisphere looking like the moon. Quite keen.
