Okay, creepy much?

So I my brother showed me a film his friend made for their film making class for school, and it was just amazing. It was pretty much a clip show of all the horrible events in the world, shootings, bombings, murders, and it asks when will it end. Set to beautiful music and all, it was just moving, but the truly disturbing part was the Hitler part. The film had maybe 15-20 seconds of Hitler making a speech, and it's given me the wiggins, and not for the reason one might think. The thing is, he was yelling, and yelling in German, so I couldn't understand a word the angry man was saying, but the fact of the matter is that his voice pulled me in. It completely creeped me out that within 20 seconds of listening to the rantings of a madman, and I wanted to hear more; I wanted to listen to the man speak more of his hateful words, more of his genocidal rant. Even when the man was yelling of death and all, he had the power to move me, and God help me if I had been living there at the time. *shudders*

20 seconds, and I can understand how so many people went along with such a murderous bastard, and that frightens me just a little bit. Of course, many people realize how amazing a speaker he was. My brother has said that often his debate teacher has used Hitler as an example of the perfect speaker, using every technique perfectly to draw people in, and that just makes it creepier somehow. It's frightening to think of what such a speaker in any time can do with just a few words.
