Ponderings on a cloudy day.

These things we say, then run away from
seem to chase us down and mock us.
Would that I could say forever words,
not so filled with fear for tomorrow.
The sky speaks of rain when all I see,
all I see are the glimpses of light,
hope filling me with warmth and breath.
See how the sky itself speaks in full,
for no matter the clouds of rain or wind,
the blazing sun never dims, never fails.
The words they say for all to hear,
are not always clear or whole for all,
and yet, they never cease to be.
Lessons I seek and find in these,
so shall I sift through mine forever,
and seek the ones to say so clearly.
