You know, it's quite amazing how many girls will smile back in quite a lovely manner if you just smile at them. I mean, so many people walk past, and rarely with more than some blank expression, but I give one smile or grin, and most any girl will smile back. I suppose I do the same if a girl smiles at me, but you never really think about how just walking from place to place how little we all smile. Tis interesting to be sure.
Anyway, TGIF and all that. It has been an interesting day for sure. I think my teachers need the weekend as much as the rest of us. My CS teacher couldn't remember my last name, even though he's been my teacher for over a year now, and our class size tends to be like 11 people. And my linear algebra teacher was getting names all mixed up more than usually too.
Got in one of the two programs due today. The Fortran one works, although to find the mode of numbers, it may not catch everything... But the search and sort program I had due for Dr I I'm going to turn in monday. He's not really one to mark off for being late on assignments, especially if you come in to ask for help at some point. I have the sort working, mostly. It's doing something funky and adding a zero at the beginning of the vector, so that's not good. And my interpolation search is in an infinite loop, so yay me. I'll fix it, or someone will die of my trying.
I got out of sociology early today, which was keen, especially as we didn't have to take any notes. Even better though, I had a pretty keen talk with Melissa who sits next to me in there. I can usually get a few wry grins from her, but today I actually got her to laugh a couple times. Yay me. And we had a pretty nice chat on the walk across campus. Love her voice. *shakes himself out of daze* Anyway, glad school's over for today.
