Today, for the most part has just been, well, I can't really say what it's been. Mostly uneventful I suppose. Tried to get my program to work and died horribly, as has been the norm with this blasted thing.

Has anyone seen this mms://streams.sixflags.com/SixFlagsLaunch on tv recently? This completely kills me every time I watch it. I just can't help but get up and try to mimic the guy every single time. Makes me laugh.

All day, and I'm only now getting around to studying for my stupid philosophy test. Ugh, I'm so screwed on it. I mean, if it were a normal test with little questions to answer, that I could do. But I don't do essays, and I especially have no clue what to write about for this test. A test on Foucault and Nietzche, and I hate them both. Both are long, wordy, hard to understand, and often full of much crap. As if that weren't bad enough, we not only have to explain whatever of the questions we choose, we also have to give examples. You know, to show that we have been thinking about them and their relevance to society. Except I think both of them were full of crap, and I've thought plenty without really coming up with any examples. Tomorrow is going to suck.

I turned in my job app for Gamestop this evening (and do those things suck or what?) and got a sort of mini-interview from the guy there. I couldn't tell if he were just a sub-manager or what, but it was interesting. Apparently they're only looking for part time workers, and for what I'm guessing on minimum wage guessing by his use of the words "highly negotiable." I'm okay with both conditions I suppose, but I think they're also looking for someone who's likely to stay on during the fall. I have no clue in hell if I would be up to it, but we'll see. He said he'd give the app to the lady who does such things and pass on about me being flexible about money and whatnot. Hopefully I'll get an interview.

And last, but certainly not least,
I was really happy with this episode. I'm usually happy with all the episodes, but the ending alone was worth half a dozen regular episodes. I loved how the asking for help thing went wonky in order to wait for the second person, and how both people ended up in the same place. Jack is certainly intriguing on all kinds of levels. Obviously he knows what's going on, and I just know based on his comments that he recalls previous days too. My mom thinks that perhaps he made a deal with death or something when he died, but I have no clue. He could very well be death, or working for death, but all aside, he definitely is leading things. He keeps making things happen, and the only question is if he's doing this to help, or to hurt. When he called and had the girl kill herself, I couldn't help but wonder if death doesn't want everyone who asks to live, sort of like Final Destination or something. I would think he was bad, especially with the creepy corpse touch, but he also seems to make things better. I mean, he made Harrison finally realize that he's not all peachy and keen, and yeah, he broke him, but I don't half wonder if it won't make Harrison a better person in the long run.
