I've been thinking a lot about glory lately. By this, I mean how as christians, the ultimate goal in everything we do is to glorify God. Or, to paraphrase someone, probably C.S. Lewis, God gave us our lives and our ultimate joy, and his, is when we give it all back; when we do something for him instead of ourselves.

It weighs down on my a lot lately. As I contemplate it, I cannot understand how to properly do that in all that I do. I mean, there so many things I do in an average day that are just things you do without thinking, but even thinking about them, how does one do said actions in a way to glorify God? How do you sit in class and learn to the Glory of God? Or how does one watch tv or play video games, or even read non-christian type things to the glory of the Lord? I'm genuinely confused and searching for answers. So far, all I have is a bunch of vague ideas, but I do have a worry that such things as regular tv watching, gaming, and reading do not always contain a way to do so, that at least a good portion of that time spent is merely for the self.

Granted, any number of such things can bring joy, and that's something I can be thankful for, and be thankful for the moment. But how does one be grateful or glorify him during? How can I glorify him while sitting in class? How do I learn in a way to give it to him? All I have is questions. I suppose I should pray more about it, but that's also true of a good number of things in my life.
