Mar. 23rd, 2003 09:47 pmThe iced blue moon shines on down
caressing the pale tinged skin
as he sings to her this night,
his aimless melodies rustling in the dark,
playing through the crisp leaves of spring,
bringing life to her eyes,
flames to the brilliance of her,
as the moon looks on in awe.
He sings of forever and always,
the rush of cooling waters past,
as she looks on with twinkling smile,
and he sings on of the skies so alive.
His words echo in the night, stirring,
breathing sounds into every hollow,
and as his sweet serenade flows on,
the silver clouds look down and grin,
for the simple joys of the night,
and the gentle play of song.

Some thoughts on some things.
Mar. 23rd, 2003 10:01 pmOkay, first off, I adore the WB for reshowing Angel tonight since it was so rudely not shown last wednesday. That said, I must now do the required squee for the genius that is Joss and his writers. I absolutely loved tonight's episode from the Angel/Angelus deally, to the Willow/Cordy fight, to anything Faith related, and finally to Willow in general. Okay, so still not thrilled with the gay thing (I want her and Xander dammit!), but whoever the hell wrote her for this episode sooo needs to be writing for Buffy more often, like maybe every ep or something. The whole cheerful, geekish Willow was just what I've been needing for a long time. The Fred and Willow thing seemed a bit weird (since when did Fred turn gay? or is Willow's gaydar just off?), but I just loved when the old Willow started showing through and I can't get enough.
Now, on to the repeat of Duplicity for SV. I watched it again, and I have to say that it really was pretty damn good. I don't know why so many people dislike JTT (alright, sometimes he can be annoying, but I don't think that's the whole reason), but I thought he did a pretty good job. The real shine of this episode though, was the scenes with Lana and Chloe. I loved the way Lana and Chloe were in this episode, and even though Chloe was not entirely the her from season one, I think they were both great. I'm too tired to really say why right now, but rest assured, it was good and stuff. :p
