Some thoughts and whatnot.
Apr. 2nd, 2003 10:46 amSo I was reading the aol news and it mentioned how some of the iraqi forces were hiding in some very important mosques and firing at the American forces, but we didn't return fire in fears of destroying. Now, I realize that the mosque may be a good place to fight from, but what does it say about the whole war when they seem perfectly willing to have their holy structure be destroyed and we're not? Okay, so it's possible that we just feared the major angries from the major muslim community, but still, at least we gave it thought. And what about prisoners? We treat prisoners better then the government treats their own citizens. I just feel like this war just keeps showing who's really doing the right thing, not that it's ever been that big of a secret really.
It's funny sometimes how you have one good idea, but you talk about the lesser one, and completely forget what the good one was. *sigh*
