Splurge!

So my asshat of a brother decided yesterday when he came home that he didn't have time to fill up his jeep, so he took the truckfor like 4 hours, leaving me in the lurch. Beside the fact that his jeep is like from the 60's and only he knows how to drive it, I think he's the only one insured for it, so I was pretty much screwed. I just got some coupons for buy one get one free books, and a $10 cd that expire Sunday, plus I had to get a bag of feed for the chickens, and I my brother's taking the truck again at a little before noon, so it seemed I was out of luck. Luckily though, Bob was nice enough to wheel me about town, although he doesn't listen to directions so well. And if you're reading this Bob, I said it was near and behind King Soopers, not right there, ass. Oh, and thanks.

Anyway, I got to Hastings, and splurged. :D I gots me Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul, a keenly drawn Uncanny X-Men graphic novel, and the Tonic cd Lemon Parade. As soon as I finish reading my newly again started series, Homecoming by OSC, I shall get to those Dirk Gently books. We'll see if they're up to snuff or not. :P
