Bored boredity bored bored bored.

Guh. So the week's over. I have nothing major next week. Not much homework, but enough to make me worry without doing anything about it, and I don't have anything to read.

In other news, I'm so close to getting my program finished, at least, I hope so. I dunno though, tis a cruel occupation at times, where any fix in one place can screw up many other places. So here's whatever.

Didn't get to see Maria today, which is ironic as I had to come in quite a bit earlier than usual for help with my code, and I get there adn she's gone for the day. Still planning on asking her for coffee one last time monday. I have no clue how that'll go, but I'm counting it as my last strike asking wise with her, so it's definitely something. I'll worry about it later.

Reckoning

Summer days fade away
into a dearth of winter,
a wave pain and despair
filling every colden moment,
every shallow cut within the soul.
Shall the falls fall away,
shall the fires burn the day,
and in the darkness,
singe from chaff and keep,
buried beneath, withered and dead,
fallen angels burned to dust?
Keep to the shadows
oh you scarred and bitter off,
sicked by ne'erending plight
and sleeping, starless night o'erhead,
twisted chill scraping bone and brain.
Canst you see the flame below,
borne away on wilden gust
searching for the answers, yet
ne'er finding a path leading home?
Calling forth the wonders
untold under barren pitch of void,
seeking all the more,
for journey's end beyond the path
unwinding and skilled in mind.
Winter's grasp has yet to hold,
to crush beneath
its heal the trodden and free alike,
yet dawn approaches still,
and in its dying light
sing the hope of another day,
the blaze that cannot be counted upon
to fulfil once more its duty.
