Well, I am now officially 40+ hours into Xenosaga, which I think means I have only a few more to go before it's all done and beaten (Although, to be fair, a good 10-15 of that has been cinema scenes. It's like a game and an anime combined into one). But I have to say, this game is hella ass confusing. I mean, seriously, if I didn't know this was supposed to be episode one, I'd swear there's a one huge movie/backstory that I missed out on or something. To put into more recognizable terms, this game is like one of those mystery novels or movies, where you understand absolutely jack, and as it progresses, you learn more and more back story and such until it makes sense. Except that it never does in this game. There are references to people and places that never make sense, and if anything, only get more confusing. It's like Neo in the Matrix, except the movie never actually gets to the part where he takes the pill and understands everything. All you get are glimpses that make you hungry for more, but it never gives you more. Here's hoping I understand a tiny bit more, and that the episode 2 explains a lot more.
