Blasted test...
Feb. 6th, 2004 07:26 pmGuh. Man, Dr. Scott's test really sucked today. I mean, I studied for like 2 hours last night, and it barely helped any. He must have let Dr. I write it or something, because it took longer than we had class to finish it. Of course, the upside is that he'll end up giving more points to people because we couldn't finish it.
The rest of the day was rather uneventful, although I had to take the bus and walk several blocks in like 20-25 degree cold. But I had my cd player, so it wasn't too bad.
I had fun with Melissa during class again today. Now that she's started talking with me, she talks, smiles, and laughs quite a bit more. And it's cool because she's one of those few people I feel comfortable around; I don't have to watch what I say around her. It's a shame she's taken, but she's still cool and laughs at my jokes, so hey, not bad.
In other news, I've become rather taken with Gunbound in the last week or two. I'd heard of it, but never really understood until Bob told me to get it. It's really cool once you get the hang of it, although until you're out of the newbie level, you might get bashed verbally. It's a lot like the game Worms, for anyone who even knows what that is. It's basically a really advanced version of those old Atari tank game. You pick an angle, try to hit the right power level, and consider the direction of the wind. Also, there's money and experience points figured in. Win a game and win money and experience. Make a good shot, win varrying amounts as well. Team kill or shoot yourself and lose both money and experience, albeit not too much. Also included are various vehicles that can do more damage to different kinds of vehicles. And you can buy helpful equipment with the money. All very shway.
