I've been needing and wanting some things for a while now, so today mom and I went down to the mall and went on a spree of sorts. I got 4 of those overshirt things that often have tropical prints (Unfortunately, though they had cool ones, mostly with flames, but no spiderman ones) as well as the ever popular socks.
Then I popped down to the Gamespot and picked up a job app. The girl there said that she didn't know if they were hiring for summer, but they were doing interviews now and I should fill this thing and bring it back asap. I'm busy tomorrow, so I'm hoping thursday isn't too late. Maybe I'll just pop in tomorrow after school sometime.
I also got new shoes. My old ones had barely anything left in the heel, so that was uncomfortable, but gleest of glees, it turns out that high-tops are coming back into style. I was shocked, but thought it keen. It's weird getting used to them again though.
Finally, we popped by the family christian bookstore and I got a small pocket-sized Bible for carrying oot and aboot.
Bugger though, I have come back only to study for a CS test tomorrow. And I almost forgot that I have to write a half page thing about wanting to be a young life leader before tomorrow night. Which is hard because I'm not actually planning on becoming one. I don't care how good these people are at bringing teenagers to Jesus, I am simply not ready to commit two years and 10 hours a week to this. But then again, I hadn't planned on being leader even before I found out what it requires. I just went in to learn something. And I have, so mission accomplished. And perhaps some day I shall want to be one after all.
It's all five by five.
