The computer guy came around this afternoon and switched out my motherboard for a new one. I reformatted and reinstalled Millenium, and haven't had a single blue screen of death yet. *looks out for irony*
So now my compy is all up and running, although my net has unfortunately decided that it wishes not to join in the happy festivities. It wants to be like that neighbor that keeps peeking in at odd times without actually contributing to any of the glee. Bastard.
Also and unfortunately, I can't seem to get my bookmarks to work correctly in firefox. I'm thinking of uninstalling and reinstalling it to be on the safe side. But it is a small problem.
Next on my agenda is to someday get a better graphics card, and perhaps get dad to run a hard line up here instead of having to rely on the wireless signal.
