So it looks as if we are one chicken less today than yesterday. Of our two, I think one became fox chow yesterday. The remaining one is quite heart broken according to my mother. We've had the two since they were chicks, so it stands to reason that the remaining one would dreafully miss her. Kind of sad really.
Aside from that, today seems something of a lazy day. Not like an average fourth of July. No fireworks, barely anything on tv. It would probably be a bigger deal if my brother was here. But I don't mind. I always end up burning my hand on some firework, so maybe I'll go through this one unscathed.
I am also happy to report that even though most of the files I backed up on cd were zipped incorrectly, I was able to salvage something like 100 megs worth of my pics and lj icons from the mess. It still pisses me off though, that my preformat comp screwed up the zipping process. I had a lot of good pics and songs and such I may never get back. At least I didn't try zipping my nearly 2 gigs worth of music. All is perfectly fine for the time being. If didn't have my music, I would probably flip out.
