Or upon me anyway. I'm sure some of you out there are a day ahead, and possibly some of you are jewish...

Needless to say, it is now christmas eve, and somehow I just don't feel it that much this year. The christmassy feeling comes and goes. I wish there was new snow on the ground; that would be sure to make me feel more christmas-y. Ironically, there is rarely ever actual snow on the day of christmas here, but snow still gives that feeling of cheer. We have something of a tight christmas this year, although still it looks to be pretty darn good. I think it breaks down to about $250 per person this year, although I haven't the foggiest what it's been in previous years. The nice thing about being a bit older now is that I already have a good many things that I want, so I don't need much. Well, technically I don't "need" anything, but you get the idea. Frankly, the only thing I really asked for with any consistency was for the final season of Buffy, and I'm pretty sure I'll get that, and if I do, everything else is just icing on the cake.

I have noticed, this year especially, that I really suck at gift wrapping. I mean, there was this shoebox sized thing that I wrapped that had both ends come out just ghastly. As both a lark and a way to cover it up, I wrapped another layer over it, and that looks much better, but even still, I hate the thought of giving gifts in crappy wrap jobs (Did that sound dirty to anyone else?). It's not like I know the trick to making the ends turn into perfect little corners which need very little tape. I know in theory how to, and I did a little bit last year, but all my stuff this year is just awful. In practice, much knowledge breaks down. But enough of my complaints.

Have a merry christmas eve and all that people.

Me!
