What a day.
Apr. 22nd, 2005 05:12 pmI had a math test today that I'm not entirely sure I passed. I wasn't entirely ready for it, though I had some of it down cold. Other parts...not so much. I might have done a little better, but I had only like 4 hours of sleep last night so today is not exactly the most coherent of days. One of those days where everything seems just ever so slightly askew. At least I can sleep in tomorrow. That'll be nice.
In other news, my brother has gone back to his base in California today. He has to stay there until around February of next year, when he has to go back to Iraq. Knowing how boring it is on base, he really didn't want to go, but at least he has a truck to go places, his dirt bike, and an xbox. That should help alleviate the boredom.
I find it immensely amusing that he and all of his marine buddies got really hooked on watching Smallville over in Iraq during their downtimes. They got hold of the dvd seasons, and even got a few ones online. They wold all crowd around the tv, and they had a checklist of everyone so they wouldn't start watching until everyone was accounted for. He said they watched like an entire season in like one day. They got up to like the third episode of this season. It just cracks me up to think of all these big, manly marines all crowding around a single tv, like little children, to watch the show.
