Snappage

So my emergency brake cable snapped last week. I tend to use it most times when I park, and this one particular time, I heard a pop, then the brake handle seemed to be a bit loose. I had my dad look at it, and he said that the cable had snapped. Add to that the fact that my car had some starting problems last week, earlier, and I'm pretty much going to be using my mom's car for the next little while.
