Nov. 24th, 2007 10:11 amYou know, I always thought that I got off lucky in regard to food allergies. I mean, I can eat anything and not puff up or have my throat close or anything. In fact, I found, from being tested, that I am only mildly allergic to soy and corn. However, the more I think about it, the more I think that I still got hosed. Do you know how very near impossible it is to find things without corn or soy in them? Pretty much everything is sweetened with high fructose corn syrup, and anything remotely healthy they try to cram full of soy anymore. It's very, very difficult to find an energy bar that does not contain soy. So really, while I'm only mildly allergic, I'm getting these things in nearly everything that I ingest. Kind of sucks, really.
