So Circuit City is having some Valentines week sales on certain items, some being on ipods. I do not have an ipod. I would like to own an ipod. I have wanted to own an ipod for some time now, but never really felt the cost justified buying one. However, the sale at the City has changed my attitude. Classic (black) ipods are now somewhat cheaper and have a lovely amount of space on them in which to hold just oodles of music. I thought about it all yesterday and a bit today and decided that the sale was just enough incentive to spring for one. Naturally, I was grousing the whole time at the distinctly craptacular amount they were taking off -- a mere $12.50 on a $250 ipod. At a measely 5%, that doesn't even cover sales tax. Never the less, I sallied forth after a long day of work in order to procure myself some cheesy comest... I mean, an ipod. But woe and alas! There were none to be had! They had most every other kind in there, save for the only one that I wanted and was willing to pay for! Oh piteous day.
Mom says that $12.50 really isn't a lot, so I should just buy it elsewhere, but that kind of ruins it a bit. The delight of actually finding an ipod on sale was the tipping factor needed to purchase one. I'm not sure I have the oomph needed to get one now. Perhaps I shall mope for a few hours.

So apparently it is, in fact, a savings of only $11.51, and Circuit City is not the only place with such an offer. Amazon too seems to have it, and who knows where else. Perhaps I shall curtail my mopings a spell.
