ipod and Jumper

It turns out that Amazon did have the $11.51 off of the classic ipods, so I caved and bought from them. It should arrive in 4-8 business days, as I went with the free, cheapskate option for delivery. On the upside, not only do I get money off and have to pay no shipping, I have also discovered that Amazon seems to not charge sales tax. Color me flabbergasted, but richer for the deal. Yay!

Also, I went and saw Jumper after work tonight. I wasn't really expecting much, what with the 13% on rotten tomatoes and Ebert gave it like a star and a half. I don't know what the hell people were complaining about. It was a fun movie. I quite enjoyed myself. It wasn't one of those stunned, "that was awesome" kind of movie, but it never bores and is just really fun to watch.

It's amazing how quickly one can get better at playing the guitar when one actually, you know, plays it. You'd think putting the guitar in the corner for weeks at a time between playings would just seep skill into the very air, but apparently this is not so. The more you know.
