I got little sleep, had disturbing dreams, had to wake up an hour or two earlier than usual, had an allergy shot that hurts worse than pretty much any I've yet had in like two years, and I've just twisted my ankle quite painfully not twenty minutes ago. *faceplants* My foot went nearly completely perpendicular to its normal position, so oww.
Incidentally, I twisted it on the walk back to the car from seeing Micheal Behe tonight. The man can certainly be funny at times, but an hour plus talk is hardly time to go into any real specifics, particularly with such a large audience of so many different levels of education. It was held in the college ballroom, but had children on up to the elderly, so he had to make his talk understandable by everyone, which necessarily precludes a lot of specifics and in-depth details. Nevertheless, I found his talk to be decent enough. I really hate hecklers though. The man, while having to give simplified points at times did give a lot of pointed information and was clearly very logical, yet during the question session he got several real jerks who cared nothing for intellectual discourse or refutation, but were simply interested in making the equivalent of "you're wrong! I don't have any reasons, but nyah nyah!" They really didn't seem to understand that acting so childishly only further validates his arguments and lessens theirs. May I never be so foolish.
