Trapped in a zombie.

I had an idea whilst I was sitting in church this morning regarding a rather keen fic. It occurred to me that a rather interesting parallel to being a christian is that of a person who wakes up in the body of a zombie, or perhaps a zombie who gains a glimmer of a mind. But think of it as more complex than simply a zombie "gone good", as it were. Rather, what if the mind were there, but it could only control the body with continuous focus, concentration, and force of will. That would mean that every time the person lost focus, got distracted, or simply wore out, the zombie body would return to its former zombie ways. The mind would be there the entire time, and would experience every time the zombie was the one in control. It would be a singularly horrifying experience, sharing the body of something that's only goal is to brutally devour the living. Twould make a good fic, yes?
