I hate thinking up subject lines
May. 29th, 2010 01:01 amI've been thinking about the state of christian music lately. Specifically, I've been thinking about how many popcorn and "happy" songs there are, but how very few there are that touch on the valley times, the "long, dark night of the soul" kind of times. It's good to have affirmation songs, and hearing negatives all the time isn't always good, but I think there could definitely stand to be a few more out there. When you go through those times, you just want to have music that empathizes.
We all know those times when things are tough, and we want music that gets it. So where's all the christian music that gets it? Maybe it's out there and it just doesn't make the radio, but I dunno.
