Having watched Slumdog Millionaire again t'other night, I must say that it still holds up well. The mark of a good film is rewatchability, and this definitely is rewatchable. Thankfully, it's a little less intense the second time through. I had forgotten, but the actress who plays the grown up Latika, Freida Pinto, is simply, breath-takingly gorgeous. I mean, wow. That's the kind of beauty that really makes others around pale in comparison. She's the kind of beautiful that I would most definitely get in trouble for, being unable to stop staring at her; like, how on a hot and thirsty day a cold glass of water can be downed over and over.
