I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I badly miss having my own laptop. My dream is, naturally, one of these babies from Alienware. That 17 one in particular has me drooling. But dreams aside, I miss mine soooooo much. Tear. I've had my own for so many years, and its absence has not gotten any easier over the months since it kicked. Is it too much to want a nice, solid gaming computer I can put linux on? Sigh. It's amazing how many little things start to get to you too, like being able to choose my own backgrounds and keep everything nice and organized. It's an oddly emasculating feeling not to have things of one's own, especially a computer for a computer guy such as myself.

I wish I had a rich uncle or something.
