A Series of Unfortunate Events

Went and done saw that new-fangled Lemony Snicket movie. I won't give anything away, but needless to say, it was a good movie. I'd recommend it, although there was something throughout that gave me the hint of the creeps. A general unease in the back of my mind played as though it were a toothache. I think the movie is meant to somewhat convey a slight sense of dread throughout, I dunno, there was just something I couldn't put my finger on. Regardless, it was very well done and I must say that Jim Carrey can play creepy yet funny villain remarkably well. There were a few odds and ends at the end of the movie that don't make all that much sense, and it felt like some things were left undone, but overall I was quite satisfied. As my mom said after, there is likely to be a sequel, especially with said odds and ends left undone.
