In networking today we spent the entire time making lan/network cable. It was sweet. By making, I mean that you get like 7-8 feet of the line, splice the plastic off both ends, then try to perfectly line up 6 of the tiniest wires ever and fit them all into the plastic ends that plug into things. It involved sharp cutting things, and a clamp. I even went long as it took a long time, but it was still pretty sweet. And now that I know how, I could probably do it quite a bit faster.
