I rather like Ryan Reynolds, as odd as this may sound, ever since I saw him in Van Wilder. Anyway, I've seen a few commercials about his newest, Just Friends, and having now seen it, I must say that I really liked it. I honestly have to say I hadn't expected a whole lot. I like the actors in it, but I expected it to be a bit cheesy and just okay. I was most pleasantly surprised to find that it rocked my socks. It was hilarious, but it was actually sweet and had great character interactions that I found most appealing. Most likely because I totally empathize with low-esteem fat guy he used to be. The whole movie was comedic, but I honestly thought a lot of the characters had real character to them. Not just that, but it was a more or less clean movie, and I really appreciated that.
