A friend is having a birthday today, and I suggested, as it is late now, singing her a birthday lullaby. Of course, I swiftly came to the realization that likely no such thing exists. However, this has emblazened on my mind the grand idea of someone actually making some. It then further occurred to me that not only could I sweep the birthday world, thus far barren of decent lullabies, but I could sweep many areas deprived of lullabiage. We could make our slogan be, "a lullaby for every occasion." And naturally, my mind leaps to as many funny ones as serious ones... Heh, I can just imagine all of the joke commercials and ads.
"Plane about to fall out of the sky? No worries! We have a lullaby for that! *note, a light, gentle, even tone is required*"
"House burnt down? Not a problem! We have a lullaby for that! *note, must be able to sob along at the right moments*"
"Someone falling asleep due to a concussion? We have a lullaby for you! *note, do not use if fond of the concussed. For a helpful lullaby, ask about 'the screamer' or 'sleepy mr. bitchslap mcgee'*"
My brain twitches in delight at the thought of such a prospect.
