I mean really, is apple pie still so prevalent as to be thought of as American? I'm an American and all, but I much tend to prefer pies of the berry or creme-fill variety. I'm just saying...
Also, I went and saw the Simpsons movie with the parents yesterday. It was a fun movie, though I always dislike how comedies become a lot more serious at times when moved to the big screen. Not that it has to be a laugh a minute, but I don't go to watch really sad or dramatic moments when I go to see a movie based on something that's all about the constant jokes. Still, it was fun and I'm glad I saw it.
