Introspection is my LIFE. (I'm using capital letters specially for you. ;)) And I think you nailed it, as far as why you may not be so inclined to write fanfic anymore -- binge watching and hormones make a LOT of sense to me.
I was never one for fanfic, for some reason. The concept fascinates me but I never got into writing it.
