What can I say, this is exactly how Buffy should be, and should have been for the last few episodes. Let's see, to start, Kennedy not so bitchish when ubervamps show up. She should be constantly surrounded by them jsut so I don't hate her all the time. Hee. Anyway, I can definitely tell that whatever bug Sarah seemed to be fighting last week was gone this time. I absolutely loved the funny in this episode. Buffy consistently killed me with the funny, and the whole scene with Xander and Buffy, and later the eye conversation was great. I'm still giggling over the Andrew and Anya scene in the hospital, with the implied tension that seemed to be leading to something. Wheelchair fights, priceless. I can only hope fervently that the final episode is so good. You can do it Joss, I know you can!
And as for Smallville, well I loved that too. I shall admit that even I was a bit offput by the Clana last week, but I really think that it was done perfectly tonight. Even the constant back and forth face camerage was done well I thought. And everything else was just great too, although the coffee house scene of silent death had me on edge. Honestly, is everyone completely daft? Anyway, wow. I wouldn't have believed that Lex would have done that to Helen to get the blood, but wowzers. And poor Chloe, nuff said. She scares me on the dark side. I saw a hint of it today, and I must say, creepy. If she ever becomes a villian, be very afraid is all I have to say. I miss perky little season one Chloe. This one is just too broken now.
