The family got another letter from my brother in marine boot camp. He wrote it on christmas apparently. Anyway, it was kind of sad, the way things are going for him. He likes it there, but he had a sudden bout of extreme missing us all, and he hasn't been feeling well. He keeps getting sick while he's there (They work them to exhaustion every day of the week there, so it's not too unusual I think), and now his ankle hurts for some reason. And now he's on his drill instructor's kill list. Apparently in boot camp, none of the recruits are allowed to pee, like ever, so a lot of them just end up going whenever and wherever they can't hold it anymore. Looks like my couldn't hold it at some inopportune moment in front of the DI, so now he's on the guy's list. Which is just ridiculous. I mean, it's really not healthy to damage the kidneys of people like that. Anyway, he's having a hard time, so anyone with any extra prayers out there, maybe you could send them his way.
