There's nothing new under the sun.
Anyhoo, I've exhausted my supply of books from the library, and what's more, I've confirmed what I knew before, but was rather hoping I was wrong about. I have an addictive personality; especially in regards to certain things, but really most things. I'd hoped I was stronger than this, but reading all those books have really impressed upon me that once I get that taste of a compelling book, I'm hooked until I've burnt myself out reading. I seem to have very poor self-control when in comes to reading (well, a good number of things, which is why I stay far away from alcohol and smoking, but reading especially is a bad one). I keep setting limits for myself, such as how much or how long I'll read before I go to bed at night, or before I need to do something important, but I can never make myself do it. I can't put the books down, well, except for The Bourne Identity. I got 40 pages into that trype and had to drop it like a hot potato. Blech.
Bah, I just found out that Remy Zero is breaking up. Those twips were supposed to be working on a new album that I could buy, but noooo, they had to go and split apart their separate ways. I've heard a few songs done by the lead singer and his brother for their new enterprise, and they sound pretty good. I get the feeling that a good number of the songs I like were done by those two. Well, and they were all influenced by the remy zero guy they got the band name from, so it stands to reason that all of them will have some of the same flavor, kind of like how all the beatles had the same flavor even on their own.
