I don't think I would survive very long if I didn't find so many things funny that others might simply find annoying. Such as what I went through in my job search today. I went down to the supertarget and filled out one of their computerized applications, which must have taken like a half hour, give or take. At the end, the screen said to pick up the phone and wait for someone to come on and give further instructions.
So I do, and the girl asks if I wanted an interview now or some other time. Being there, I said then was fine. Long story short, I must have waited 10-15 minutes with people coming in and out of the door behind me, with each one saying they were going to go get someone. Finally, some guy comes out and tells me that there isn't anyone actually there who can do interviews. Cracked me up. And the great part was the whole time, I wasn't even annoyed, I just found it funny. Heh, good times, good times.
Of course, on the whole downside, it's getting rather hot now. I think the whole rainy and cool May is gone, and the June heat has begun. Geez, it's only 80 something and it's hot. And I just know that it's going to get into the hundreds again this summer. I just know it.
