Anyhoo, I had quite a day searching for a blasted copy of SSX3 that actually worked. So much worthless, worthless driving. First, I drove all the way down to Hastings as they actually seemed to have a copy in for Gamecube. I drive all the way back home, only to find that the disk is scratched and has some odd burn bubbles and won't even start. So, back I went, where they told me to just get another game. I didn't really want anything else, but I ended up getting Soul Calibur 2, as I've been curious about it for a while. It's not bad, but I wanted SSX. I ended up calling both Hollywood Videos, and the one across town said they had a copy. Off I went. I get there, only to find that their only copy in is a damaged one that doesn't work either. So I caved and got it for PS2. Frankly, I rather wish I had just waited to get it later for the cube. It's okay and all, but the controls are nowhere near as fun as the Gamecube's. Le sigh. Rather a letdown, but I suppose it's better than nothing for the time being.
