My family decided that today would be my birthday party (it was rather laid back, as I tend to like, mostly just presents, food, and movie as goes the norm) instead of monday. I rather enjoyed myself, even if not a whole lot got done. We were going to go to the matinee showing of I, Robot, but the theater had a power loss and told people they were cancelling the 4:00 shows. So we went home, opened presents, went to Pizza Hut, then to the 7:00 showing, which then lost power 5 minutes into the movie. So I think we're going to see it tomorrow.
I liked my presents rather a lot too. I got Buffy season 6 on DVD (I'm so watching OMWF first thing tonight), a container of chocolate strawberries, SSX3 for Gamecube, and a new video card for my computer, which has been badly in need of one. Of course, in turned out that the card wouldn't work whatsoever, causing lots of beeps from the computer without any actual pictures on the monitor. Luckily, after a good hour or two working on it, I figured out what to flip in the BIOS, and now it's working right as rain.
Oh, and par the cake, it was a lovely ice cream cake (with chocolate fudge and crunchies in the center that I love) with strawberry glaze on top, not to mention candles that all burned pretty colors. All in all, quite a fun 21st b-day I must say.
