Why not just adopt?

I've really never understood the lengths at which couples will go to in order to get pregnant. I don't mean I don't understand wanting to have children. What I mean is, why spend thousands and thousands of dollars to maybe get pregnant. Not only are the odds bad, the cost exorbitant, but also there are moral implications of the un-implanted fertilized embryos. Why not just adopt? I get that it's not always optimal, but what is? Kids need parents, parents need kids, it's a win-win. People make it way too complicated.

Plus, ladies, your body will remain unstretched, which is nice.

People just want that emotional connecting. Not saying to avoid adopting, but people want that child that bonds both parents gene's together. I don't want kids (decided this three years ago), but that was a reason I felt I wanted children. Everyone is different though... Plus, I don't wanna be stretched either. lol

Yeah, I've honestly never wanted children. I'm good with kids and like them in small doses, but I've never had much personal energy so the idea of them wears me out. Though it's really not up to me. If God (and the future wife, whomever she happens to be) decide that I should have some, then I will.
