Been an interesting day today. Woke up at 6:30 as usual to do my hour of tae bo (man Billy Blanks can sweat) then ate a piece of toast and went to school. You ever have one of those mornings when you're so tired, waking up makes you want to cry? I had one of those moments when I woke up. There's something about my body chemistry, but if I get less than 7 hours of sleep a night, especially several nights in a row, I can get damn near weepy. But anyway, I went to physics. Holy crap, I was so tired. My eyes kept losing focus, which is a bad thing, but at least I woke up by the time we started working on the lab.
Part of the lab actually would work right for a while, so we ran like 15 minutes late. I was on my way out of the building and ran right into the lovely Maria. Turned out that the chemistry people were having a free bbq thing and she said I should get some food with her. It really didn't take much convincing to get me to join her. Twas wonderful, albeit a tad hot (and me wearing a black shirt). I got to talk to her for like 40-45 minutes. I swear, talking to her is like crack for the soul. Except, not bad for you. :P She's quite addictive and always leaves me wanting more though. Well, good conversation and free food is always good, regardless.
