You know it's always something isn't it? Vague questions aside, this college thing is really beginning to tick me off here. I know, I know, I'm "learning" and "preparing for the future", and I do love to learn. I'm a freakin' knowledge bucket thing over here, but there is still a limit as to what I will take in order to gain said knowledge (Whoever did say knowledge is in for a good old fashioned cabbage fight, I tell you what). I understand that I am "old enough" I am able to take more responsibilities and more work, but damn it's a bit much. I enjoy my free time, it helps me relax and let off enough brain steam so that I don't end up exploding into ewey gooey rich and chewy pieces of me all over the wall. Don't get me wrong, or I'll look funny. Heh. Really though, as much fun as it sounds like to find out how closely a discombobulated brain looks like a ripe watermellon, I'd rather just have some free time in order to just imagine it. Plooey!
It doesn't help that I have chosen one very hard and in depth area in which to major in, Computer Science, but at least I understand most of it. What really peeves me off is that I have taken an honors course in the first semester of my freshman year and too late I found out that not only is the teacher incredibly difficult, but it also involves an assload of work. How much work an assload is precisely was never fully explained to me, but I have a pretty good idea now. I'm a rather fast reader, yet I'm still pressed for enough time to finish a new piece, annotate on it, and write 4-10 pages about it every week. How other people can have jobs astounds me. Of course, not a lot of my other friends have this much work, but still. How can they expect us to go out and become successful "people" if we have burned out our oh-so-precious brains? Bastards. Heh.
