Ode to a jello mold, or not

I can only hope
with my every breath
to see you once more
the way you were
before I left
and went away
so far gone yet
so close to you
would that I could
hear your laugh
to view your smile
but to find you
I know not where
to look to search
and if I could
what would I say
if I did
I have no words
to speak to say
how could you
possibly know
the ache the pain
I've felt so long
since I've gone
perhaps one day
I'll shall see you
once more
upon this earth
but will it be
too late then
most likely with all
of the irony
I so daily face
it shall
but I shall never
stop in my dreams
