Bummer

I'm kind of disappointed today. I was fully planning on asking cute Maria to go out for some coffee or soemthing with me yesterday, but I couldn't do it. Not that I didn't have the opportunity, or the want to, it was just that I didn't have the car. It may not seem like a lot, but to a guy who's nervous already, the embarrassment factor is already very high.

I can just imagine asking her out, and on the off chance she agreed, having to call it off early because one of my family has to pick me up. Ugh. It's not the biggest deal, but it is something that I'm not really comfortable enough to deal with yet. Guess I'll just have to try and ask on monday.

I put the word "posits" in my piece for creative writing, and found to my surprise that even some of the better writers didn't know the word. So how many of you out there *do* know it? I want to gage whether I'm just weird for knowing this uncommon word, or whether some of these writers in my class are just un-knowledgeable.
