Stupid strings, I hate you all.
Feb. 10th, 2004 05:36 pmUgh. I've been working on one of the two programs due on friday, the one in C++. Ironically, it's also the lesser of the two in terms of importance. The pascal one is the one that will get points taken off for being late, but I can't seem to get around to that one yet. And this C++ is rather annoying me. Specifically, the whole string class is seriously pissing me off here. I can't get them to work right. Maybe I should just be using cstrings instead, but I'm guessing I'd still be getting a lot of the same problems in conversion from char arrays, even though they're basically the same thing. I can't directly input a file of words into strings, and they're supposed to be so much easier than having to bother with char pointers and such. Dammit.
That's it, I'm going to play gunbound.
