Hmm

Have you ever had one of those dreams that you wish you could have seen the end to before the alarm went off? I had a rather bizarre dream this morning, half of which I don't remember, but I do remember that most of the cast of Angel and some sort of king of the zombies. Very weird, but it was really getting interesting, and I want to know how my subconscious was going to get Spike and Angel out of their fake sun-dusting.

In other news, I spent a good while last night making myself a new icon, but when I tried to animate it in ImageReady, even optimized as a gif, it's still like 60k too big for lj. *grumbles* I don't understand, it was only like 10 frames long. Although, the colors are pretty vibrant, so maybe that was it.

And I don't want break to be over! *clings to his nice warm bed*

Only 6 more weeks of school left it appears. 6 more weeks, and a buttload of tests and work coming up. I think that my linear algebra class, in which we will have but one more and the final is actually the least amount of tests left for any of my classes. I rather hate how the teachers cram in all the stuff near the end of the semester. Although, to be fair, it's not like we're urging them on to work us faster and harder so that we can always remain on schedule. It's always weird to come back from a long break, although a week doesn't seem like nearly long enough. It was like nothing changed, and yet, I felt rather happy today. Happy and tired, but the tired was just my stupid self going to bed at one in the morning for the whole week. But the happy was nice. It wore off at times, especially when I was feeling particularly drowsy, but overall it was a decent day.

I found out that none of the programs are actually due yet, although I do have a Dr. I test to study for on friday, and although my knight's tour program seems to be doing what it's supposed to, it still conks out on some of the spaces. Oh, and I got my algebra test back today, and joy of joys, I got the second highest grade in the class of a 99%. I was rather thrilled. Although now I really don't have any urge to do test corrections. A fourth of a point just doesn't seem like it would make too much of a difference at this point.

I also got to wave hello to the lovely Maria, and got to walk with the always stunning Melissa, so that was another tally for the day, I must say. Well, musn't necessarily, but do anyway, so just try and stop me.

I discovered some new fliers in the hallways today, expounding some free sessions of speed reading. I've always loved to read, and I never pass up a chance to improve my speed and skills, not to mention anything at all that could help me with my comprehension. I can recall quite a bit of the books in which I am interested in, but text books and such, I have such crappy recall with. I think that the last time I tested myself, I was up around 500 words a minute when I was trying, possibly a scosch higher, but the flier claimed up to 800 words per minute, or even better if you really get some of the techniques down, so I'm thinking that either tomorrow or wednesday, I'm going to go down to one of these 40 minute sessions and check it out. Could be fun.

Me!
