"I'm drowning in footwear!"

So once again, the time has come. The time in whence every freaking girl on campus wears flip flops. I don't know why exactly, but flip-flops bug the crap out of me to no end. Heck, I find them more disturbing than the guy in my algebra class who always walks around barefoot for some reason. I suppose part of the reason is that nearly every single girl is wearing them. It's just weird. Not to mention the fact that there aren't too terribly many girls who have the feet for open shoes.

I went and checked out that "free session" all the posters around school talked about for speed reading. It was kind of really worthless. He basically had us do two readings, then described how us spending $300 for 3 2 and a half hour sessions would vastly improve our reading and comprehension, even in college textbooks and whatnot. Now, just paying attention to him, it's obvious that he has something of value to teach, but there was just something about him that I found off-putting. Not only that, but I can already read within his guaranteed level. So I'm thinking I'm just going to go out and buy a book on speed or photo reading sometime. Save myself a few hundred bucks in the process.
