I checked my grades...yesterday I think it was. Yeah, I think that was it. Anyway, aside from the class which I've yet to be able to finish the last program in (I emailed the prof like 2 days ago, so I dunno why he never emailed back to help me), all my grades are in. Looks like an A in Sociology and Linear Algebra, and a B in my programming languages class and philosophy. I think it's probably about what I expected, and hoped for in the case of my programming languages class. I honestly don't know how many points this last program is going to be worth for my grade in my last CS class, but I'm hoping it's not a lot, because it looks like I'm not going to be able to turn it in or finish. Which is something of a disappointment to be sure, but if I can't figure out how to do a part of it, then I'm stuck. *grumbles and settles himself like an angry cat would*

Anyway, I've calling about for jobs these last few days. I've pretty much discounted getting a job at Gamespot, but I went and filled out an app at the Blockbuster. I like it there and it seems like it would be a fun place to work, as such places go. Ugh, electronic apps suck though. I mean, it takes like 40 minutes, and that's with me reading really quickly. It takes forever to fill out the apps, not to mention that little annoying psych test they administer along with it. I mean, it's the same repetitive questions over and over, and with no undecided as an option. Bastards.

I have finally gotten around to buying the Alvin Maker series by Orson Scott Card. I've read most of them a few times, but I saw the first one dirt cheap as a special and went for it. I know have all but the last one and intend to start reading the third one later tonight.

My parents, on a whim, decided to buy the first book in the Left Behind series the other day. Me being the reader, they gave it to me as the guinea pig to see what I thought of it. I started sometime last night and finished it earlier today, and I have to say that it was quite an interesting read. I've been aware of the various thoughts on the rapture (pre-trib rapture is currently the most widely held belief I think), but it's never really been quite as visual, I suppose I could say. Although I kept thinking it was funny that the people all disappeared and left their clothes behind. If a rapture does occur, I imagine either our clothes would disappear as well, or as my mom said recently, it's possible that the people would be taken, but their bodies would be left behind -- meaning a sudden worldwide abundance of corpses... I'm still wondering as to which would have the worse impact on people. But anyway, I think the book did a really great job on really showing the impact such an event would/will have on people.

Me!
