I forgot to mention yesterday that while I was at Hastings buying the rest of the Alvin Maker series (I really have got to only buy from them as every single book there is always marked down), I was distracted by the collection of graphic novels. I was looking for one or two in particular, when what did my eye catch but the Wolverine origins book. Man, I've been wanting to read that thing for so long. So I stood there for a good 30-40 minutes doing so. Man, that was so cool. I mean, they even make you think it'll be someone completely different than who he turns out to be. But it's rather cool. Also interesting was that the woman he loved was a red-haired woman. I suppose they put that in there to explain it. But you know, it really does put all the pieces together. Why he's a loner, why he doesn't remember everything, even his love of the samurai code and all. Even the name Logan. It's not even his real name. It's all so very cool. I'd say more, but there are a few surpises in there I'd rather not spoil for anyone who may want to read it some day.
