Welp, I've gotten my computer up and running more or less smoothly now. I still receive errors and exceptions every so often, but they appear infrequently and seem, for the time being anyway, manageable. Of course, who knows how long it will remain so, but I can hope. I went hunting and found some newer drivers for my video card, and I think it may have helped a bit, although for some reason it's not being called Radeon VE anymore... Anyhoo, between that and all the windows updates, I'm thinking I've fixed a few of the errors it was having before, although I still think something's wrong in the hardware. C'est la vie I s'pose. At least I have all my important software up and running. Well, up anyway. IM programs, photoshop, music programs, and the like. Quite spiffing.
I so have got to stop going to bed at like 3 in the morning every night. Stupid Left Behind books, making me all interested. I have to keep reading them. I think I've just finished the tenth, and if memory serves, there's at least two more at the library, so it looks like anything resembling a normal sleep schedule may be postponed a while longer.
My brother came home for the weekend. He's sporting another tatoo and otherwise isn't much different than last we saw him, except that a lot of the stiff training seems to have worn off, and he swears a bit more now. That ta's pretty cool though. He has Psalm 91 on his upper back. He may get another before he leaves, but I don't know if enough time has passed since he got his last one, so who knows.
